Rupal Valley and Mazeeno Pass
Introduction:
The Rupal Valley and Mazeno Pass Trek combines moderate and challenging trails through the breathtaking landscapes of the Nanga Parbat region. Starting from Tarashing, the route takes trekkers across Herligkoffer Base Camp, Bazhin Glacier, and Latoboh, gradually ascending through alpine meadows and rocky terrain to Mazeno Base Camp. A group of adventurous trekkers continues toward Mazeno Pass (5,350m) before descending back to High Camp. The groups reunite at Tarashing and travel to Gurikot, Astore, for an overnight stay before returning to Skardu. This journey blends adventure, high-altitude challenges, and the serene beauty of Pakistan’s rugged mountain landscapes.
