Introduction;
The Thallo Pass trek is a stunningly beautiful route connecting Sorlaspur (Chitral) to Kumrat Valley (Upper Dir), offering a challenging yet rewarding adventure. With pristine lakes, snow-covered paths, dense forests, and vast meadows, this trek has everything a trekker dreams of. After crossing Thallo Pass (4400m), the jouraney concludes in the breathtaking landscapes of Kumrat, where lush green valleys and cascading waterfalls create an unforgettable experience.

Itinerary
Departure from Islamabad to Chitral by Hindukush Express bus at 8 pm.
Early morning arrival in Chitral. Breakfast in Chitral Town. Drive to Sorlaspur in 4x4 jeeps. Lunch in Mastuj. Stay at a locl al guest house in Sorlaspur.
Departure for trek starting point after breakfast on Jeep (30 mins). Trek to Bashkar Jinali, a small meadow at the junction of two streams. A hectic starting day because of continuous ascend.
Departure from Bashkar Campsite. Arrive at Bashkargol lake after a couple of hours. After lunch, continue the trek and reach Jungle campsite among juniper trees.
Leave Jungle camp after breakfast. Ascend above tree line and reach the beautiful Zaghi Chatt lake. Camp alongside the lake.
Wakeup call at 3am. Early pre-dawn departure for the pass. Cross over Snow covered Thallo Pass (4180m) and descend to Shahzore lake. Arrive at Shahzor Banda campsite.
Departure after breakfast for Kala Chashma campsite. Enjoy the meadows and serene landscape of Kumrat valley while trekking along the main stream. Lunch break at Dojanga. Arrive at Kala Chashma campsite.
Breakfast at Kala Chashma. Transfer to 4x4 vehicle and reach Timargara. Transfer to a booked van. Lunch enroute at Khorak Mehal, Chakdara. Drive back to Islamabad.
